According to the Public Relations Department of the Iranian Urban Regeneration Company, Abdolreza Golpayegani, Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development and CEO of the Iranian Urban Regeneration Company, after field visits to Minab School and the tomb of the martyred children of the Ramadan War, he emphasized to reporters, referring to the depth of the human tragedy that occurred in this area: The school that was destroyed by the brutality of the enemies of humanity must be transformed into a larger school for teaching humanity, fairness, kindness, and not being indifferent to the oppression of humans.
Minab School; The Flag of the Iranian Nation's Oppression
Golpayegani described his and his companions' presence at the site of the martyrdom of the students and teachers as a "great happiness" and said: Today, we came to visit the martyrdom site of the students of Minab School and their families and teachers. Minab Martyrs' School is a symbol and flag of the oppression of the Iranian nation and the innocence of our people in the battle that the devils have waged against this nation. On the other hand, this place gains meaning alongside the bravery, warlikeness, bravery, and fearlessness of the Iranian nation against the enemy.
Golpayegani continued: We hope that this school, which was destroyed here by the brutality of the enemies of humanity, will become a greater school; a school that re-educates humanity to humanity, reminds of the presence of God, justice, and mercy, and returns everyone who comes here to their inherent and divine nature; a nature that does not remain silent and indifferent to the oppression of the oppressed.
He also expressed his appreciation for the efforts of local groups, servants, narrators, and those involved in this group, and stated: We hope that all the efforts of the friends who are present and serving here will be accepted by God, and we also ask for increasing patience, forbearance, and tolerance for the families of the martyrs.
Ministry of Roads and Urban Development announces readiness to build new school
The CEO of the Iranian Urban Regeneration Company, referring to the government's plans to compensate for the damages in the region, said: The Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and Dr. Sadeq have announced their readiness to provide the necessary support in the school issue as well as in the process of reconstruction and helping the people. Some assistance has been provided to date and this support will continue with seriousness from now on.
He added: Building a new school in this region is one of the areas of attention so that this place, in addition to physical reconstruction, becomes a vehicle for keeping alive the message of oppression, justice and humanity.
Providing temporary housing for affected families
Referring to the damage to people's homes following this incident, Golpaygani said: In the first step, it was necessary to provide a suitable place for the families to settle in the houses that were destroyed. In this regard, funds from the mortgage have been provided to the Housing Bank and its resources have also been secured.
He explained about the amount of this support: These amounts vary according to the rates of cities, provincial centers and metropolises; starting from about 400 million tomans and reaching up to 2 billion tomans in Tehran. Naturally, these figures will vary depending on the conditions, place of residence, neighborhood and other considerations.
According to him, the process of contacting the affected people, filing cases and processing requests has begun and work is underway in this sector.
Approval and notification of the plan to build destroyed houses
In another part of his speech, the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development, referring to the government's plan to build destroyed units, stated: A specific agenda has been prepared for houses that have been completely destroyed and must be rebuilt, and this issue has been raised, approved and notified in the cabinet.
Golpayegani added: Based on the division of labor, municipalities have assumed responsibilities in metropolitan cities, and in other cities of the country, with the Housing Foundation as the centerpiece, implementation operations have begun so that construction can be carried out within an appropriate time frame.
Special urban regeneration program for dilapidated areas in 11 provinces
The CEO of the Iranian Urban Regeneration Company also announced the development of a special program for the reconstruction of houses damaged by the Ramadan War located in areas located in dilapidated areas and marginal settlements, and said: In the field of urban regeneration, areas located within dilapidated areas and marginal settlements have been specially and separately put on the agenda.
He clarified: In 11 provinces of the country, some of the damaged houses were located within dilapidated areas; For this section, an independent agenda has been planned so that if the owners agree, their residences can be moved to another suitable location.
Golpayegani continued by explaining the goals of this plan: The plan is that the destroyed areas, if the residents are moved, will be transformed into spaces for public services and the needs of the neighborhood, including green spaces, clinics, schools, and other public services; because these parts are usually very small and, if renovated, may be subject to widening of the passage, and practically nothing will remain of the property.
He emphasized that for this section, a specific pattern of planning and design is being carried out, and the government's view of the worn-out structures in this incident will be a different and problem-oriented view.
In conclusion, Golpayegani expressed hope for the future and the outcome of this path and said: We hope that this bitter incident will end in good and good, with the final victory of the Iranian nation on behalf of all the oppressed people of the world.
